Pricing and Ordering

Quality is in the small details. In order to be a good jeweler you need to be a bit of a perfectionist. Fortunately, and sometimes unfortunately, that’s what I am. I want to make sure that you are getting exactly what you want and I want to be sure that you’ll be able to enjoy it for the rest of your life. Most of my designs are open to modification. Let’s make the jewelry that you want. Most of the pieces can be done with any kind of gem stone or with any kind or color of metal (in some cases a price adjustment may need to be made). Please feel free to contact me with any questions about pricing, custom orders, or with comments. Please make sure to include the order number of the specific piece you are interested in.

About Charles Jolly

img_5814.JPG Third Ring Design began in 1999 when I first took notice of the jewelry industry. It’s a bit of a family business and with the help of my Aunt and Uncle I made my first ring in their shop. They helped me begin to develop the basic skills needed to make jewelry. For three years, with their guidance and the guidance of a few great others, I continued developing the skills of this demanding art form and began to find myself as a designer.

In 2002 I decided to take it to the next level and set out to acquire a degree in Jewelry Manufacturing and Repair. Very soon after I began school I was recommended for a part time apprenticeship under a master jeweler with over 25 years experience. I completed school and my four year apprenticeship and I turned my focus to Third Ring Design.

What’s in a Name?

The name Third Ring Design is derived from a design that I created while I was in high school. It’s a cross with three rings around it. I just think there is something about the number three. When I’m designing it always seems to be a great number to work with; it’s well balanced and it’s not over crowded. The number three also holds some meaning for me in a few different ways. First, with the most meaning and inspiration for the name, is the holy trinity - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Nothing means more to me than my loving God and Savior Jesus Christ who died for my sins and through his grace and mercy grants those who accept it salvation and eternal life. If you’re not sure what I mean by that or you just have questions I encourage you to contact me even if you have no interest in my jewelry. The number three is also around us in other ways. It represents the past, present, and future. Beginning, middle, and end. Christ was crucified with three nails. The number three stands for that which is solid, real, substantial, complete, and entire. The Chinese claim that three is the “perfect number” and the Japanese believe in the three treasures truth, courage, and compassion. It also just so happens that my family is currently a family of three. Myself, my beautiful wife Shannon, and the newest, my adorable son Parker Benjamin. So although the design originated in high school, this cross and the number three continue to carry meaning. It all comes back to Jesus who all things come from and that’s the passion that I try to put into my life and my Jewelry.
